Well, it's finally here - Patch 4.0.1. :-)

A lot of cool new stuff waiting to be explored.

Cutting to the chase. You may have logged into WoW after you patched,
super excited to start playing using our guides again.

But then you realized it exploded and all was wrong in Zygorville.
Oh noes!

Never fear, though, the problems of the past shall not plague your
future any longer! :-P

In other words, please update your guides. The Zygor Viewer has been
updated to be compatible with Patch 4.0.1, so you should not have any
problems with that anymore.

However, if you do have problems or errors, please let us know and
we'll get you fixed up in a jiffy!

Zygor Talent Advisor News

Unfortunately, our in-game Talent Advisor is not quite ready yet.

Very extensive changes are needed to make the Talent Advisor compatible
with Patch 4.0.1. However, rest assured that we are working around
the clock to finalize the changes, so you can get back to using it.

We don't have an estimated completion date on when that will be ready,
other than "as soon as possible", literally.

We'll keep you posted. :-)

Zygor Guide does not work after installing 4.0.1

After installing patch 4.0.1 I logged onto my lvl 14 mage.

Clicking on a Quest NPC and accepting 2 quests they did not show as accepted in my Horde Guide. They remained Red.

Do you have any other addons installed? Try disabling them, if you do, to determine which one is causing this to happen. I just started a Horde character and the guide completes correctly when accepting and turnin in quests, etc. Thanks.

Issues since the new patch....

Since the new patch (yes I updated Zygor) I too am having the issues of the guide not updating on any of the items I complete or do. As if it no longer recognizes I even did anything.

It also no longer keeps count of any of the collection items or numbers of kills.

Is this just me? Is there a fix or something I can do?

Mine is tracking and working near 100%. My only issue is with Waypoints. I'm not getting the arrow anymore. My setting in my interface options is forced to "Built-In". When I try to change it to Cartographer2 it says "Unable to connect to Cartographer2."

These are the only 2 mods I have installed. If it matters, I'm on the 70-72 guide, step 28.

I went back and disabled the map cord add on (the only add on other than Zygor) but it made no difference.... So far I have tried the all. Death Knight 66-68 and the All. Hunter 50-55 and both hath the same issues of failing to count when I get quests, turn in quests, count number of mobs killed on quests, count number of quest items collected etc. Please advise as you can of what I can try next.

Everything worked perfectly prior to patch... Still love Zygor, just hope I get a fix soon

This is probably a stupid question, but you did update correct?

You mention "Everything was working perfectly before the patch" so I thought only to ask on the assumption you didn't update for the patch.

I too am having trouble with the guide auto advancing and tracking of quest objectives. I just checked swatter's log and this error appears to be the cause

Yes WoW is current and uptodate as is Zygor (ver 2.0.1388)

Having the same issues, guide wont advance or track anything and everything is updated. It was working fine yesterday before the zygor update.

I also tried the "repair" (remove Zygor and install from scratch) but to no avail... It is still not working

By looking at your log, it appears that you have ArkInventory also turned on. Some people have had problems with ArkInventory causing issues with other completely unrelated addons. I am not sure if this is your problem, but you might try it. I know that it did not work for my husband and he had to stop using it so Zygor's would work.
