Trouble starting new zone

Hey guys. I started in Val'shara first and when i hit 101 i went and did everything i could in my class hall. I went to try the Azsuna zone next but the first step asks me to talk to Archmage Khadgar. He isn't here.

Edit. I saw that someone else wasnt able to do this quest either. do I skip the first step? Or do I go back to Val'sharah? the legion intro and artifact section is completed

I would suggest going back to finish off Val'sharah. But if you decide to go to a different zone first load up the Intro & Artifacts guide so that can help you get the zone unlocked. You want to use that guide before each zone and if you follow a zone guide to the very end it will automatically load up the Intro & Artifacts guide so you can get the next zone started.

Well I did go back and finish Val'sharah. At the end the Legion Intro and Artifacts guide led me to the map in class hall. I selected Azsuna. I was guided to Archmage Khadgar to accept Down to Azsuna. I did that and Khadgar is not here to turn in the quest and let me pick up the next one in guide titled Into the Fray.

Try going back to where Khadgar is supposed to be. I believe that was in Dalaran. If he's not there try logging out and back in again.

Actually, Khadgar is supposed to be down in Azsuna for me to turn in the quest "Down to Azsuna" according to your guide and also the map thing in game. I tried logging out and back in, checking both the spot in Dalaran and the one in Azsuna. He doesn't show in either location though there is a ? at the spot he's supposed to be at in Illidari Stand, Azsuna. I went ahead and opened a ticket in game as well. It almost seems like I'm phased out. There are NO quests to be had near the stand, and skipping to the next quest is not doable as a result.

If you arrive to Azsuna and see the yellow quest turn-in point but Khadgar is missing, abandon the quest and he will suddenly appear and offer the lead-in quest for the zone.
