Question on "Find Closest" feature?

Not sure if I should post here but it is part of the viewer. The binocular icon that has the feature "find closest" is wacky for me. I was in Dun Morogh and wanted to find fastest/closest Herbalism Trainer and it took me first to Stormwind City, and then told me to ride the boat to Teldrassil...really that is like circumnavigation of the globe.
I just flew to Ironforge which was very close by, but I wanted to test this feature. What gives?

Hmm, maybe there was some odd conflict happening or it was having a hard time determining where you were. Where exactly were you standing in Dun Morogh when you tried to find the closest herbalism trainer?

I tried it from many places. I also just stood next to various trainers in Ironforge and selected the closest trainer, and they all wanted me to go to Stormwind City, then take a boat etc etc.

Not really working for me....

We'll check into this more to see what's happening and get it fixed.

Is there any update on this? It's not working for me and I use it!

It will take some time until we're able to troubleshoot this and find a solution. It will be fixed when we're able to but right now there are other things with a slightly higher priority that are being worked on so I have no ETA for this.
