Firegodd, sounds like your problem is that the new client settings are not pointing to the correct WoW installation location. Compare the addons directory setting for both old and new client and make sure the new client matches the old client then it will update for you.

I am having trouble with the guides as well. The guides load okay but there is no display or any icon to click on. If I use the /zygor visible command then it comes up but still no button. Also the talents advisor is not attached so gives no hints.
Using 4.0.10496. Did a repair on it as well and same result. All other addins disabled

Did you try doing a reinstall of the guides? Did you exit the game before updating your guides?Become a Fan of Zygor Guides on Facebook:

Okay looks like I missed one addon. Fishing Buddy was still active and had a button on the minimap. It appears that the new version is putting all the addon buttons in one place on the minimap. I turned on Ask Mr Robot and that button also went on top of the others. Seems a bug in WOW and I have submitted it to them.
Still no sign of the Zygor stuff on the talents advisor though.
Whoops now that I can see the options see that it has been temporary disabled???

That has been temporarily disabled until we have it working and updated properly for the new 6.0 WoW. We'll get it up and running as soon as we can.Become a Fan of Zygor Guides on Facebook:

Will there be an update out soon that WoW will recognize as current? I've tried forcing a redownload with the new updater (don't have the old one anymore), but WoW still thinks it's version 4.0 and won't load it. I use a ton of addons, many which have not been updated yet, and would rather not fiddle with checking "load out of date addons" and manually managing them. Just checking that box did not go well at all. Thanks.

Hoop2007, what do you mean by it will not show the quests? Do you get an error? Did you try with all other addons disabled?
Xopenguinox, it sounds like something is not updating correctly as it should no longer be showing as out of date. How did you force a redownload with the new updater? Have you tried using the wrench icon on the updater to reinstall the guides? Have you double-checked the Updater settings with the gear icon to make sure the directories are correct?Become a Fan of Zygor Guides on Facebook:

this was worrying me, as I had updated the updater some time ago and had no issues, until now.
What fixed the problem for me was when I checked the install path directory option, it had defaulted to c:/programefiles which is not where I install my games.
When I pointed it back to my actual install path everything is now working again.

If you don't have updated guides in game right now then you're the only one at this point which means it isn't a client issue as Dev 1 is thinking but it's an installation issue.Become a Fan of Zygor Guides on Facebook:

Can you please post up some screen shots of the settings for the old updater and the settings for the new updater. Can you also post a screen shot of the main window (showing your purchased guides) of the new updater.
If it worked with the old client but not the new client then there is something wrong somewhere with your settings on the new client. The screen shots will help me to see where the problem is. You are the only one having this problem so it has to be something specific to your new client.Become a Fan of Zygor Guides on Facebook:
