Nether drake guide revered probelms

Ive went super fast with this guide and give it a A ++, but there's this one step with the part in the revered guide quests, not pre quests. It says on step 6 to talk to Commander Hobb at the one scryer camp, but when i went over to him, there was not quest from him to accept. i looked all around and none of these quests have the same name. so... did blizz delete the quest or do i have to wait until tmw. cause im halfway done with revered and there should be a quest for me to accept from hobb. PLS let me know asap so i can get my mount and be happy :D- Alex

I actually have a problem with the same thing only mine is during the friendly part. I dont remember the step I will have to look when I get home. The guide wants us to kill the Black blood Draenor to pick up sludge covered objects during this time we are supposed to open them and recieve Murkblood escape plans which leads into the next part of the quest. however I sat in the mines killing the blobs for over 3 hours only to recieve junk everytime. I looked it up on thottbot and the drop rate was 1.2% or 5 out of every 500,000 I did however pick up some eggs while I was in there and about 300 crystals so I covered the rep that I could not get due to not getting the quest and subsequent quests. maybe the guide needs a revision? just one problem I ran into

I had the same problem but I figured out what was wrong. Unfortunately the guide doesn't tell u this but u must be friendly with the Scryers or Aldor for this quest to show up. To become friendly with one of them you will need to find Khadgar in Shattrath City. Khadgar (http://www.wowhead.com/npc=18166/khadgar) You will need to do the quest "City of Light" if you haven't already and then 2 more quest will become available "Allegiance to the Aldor/Scryers".

It really doesn't matter which one you pick if your lv 80. The Aldor are for spell casters and Scryers are for melee. I picked Aldor because I'm a spell caster but also there daily quest and FP is closer to Nertherwing Ledge. If your lv 80 then it doesn't matter who you pick but you might as well pick Aldor for the reasons I gave above. Also this is reversible meaning if you become friendly with the Aldor but then what to change you can by just doing the opposite quest from Khadgar. I hope this helps you and anyone else who is having problems with it. The part about how to become friendly with the Aldor/Scryers needs to be added to the guide.

*Note:Blood Elf are automatically friendly with the Scryers and hostile to the Aldor, vice versa with the Draennei.

I think you have to be of higher rep with them, possibly revered according to the comments on wowhead.

An easy way to get rep with Scryers is to turn in Sunfury Signets and Arcane Tomes. You can check the AH sometimes they can be found pretty cheap. Also I have found that if you go to Netherstorm and head to Manaforge B'naar killing the mobs there seem to drop those items more often than any other NPC. Here are the links for the items.
