Either Blizzard or the guide has got it wrong somewhere. In the starting step for the Ironforge part it says go to blabla and accept a quest, although that guy isn't there. The second step tells you to go to here and turn in a quest and accept another. What?

The answer is simple. You're trying to work on the Lunar event which has come and gone. It'll come around again in about 10 months. The current world event that's going on is the Midsummer Fire Festival.
