Question regarding upcoming Expansion

I just wanted to verify what will be updated and what will not be updated before/during/after Cataclysm release. I know that this is pretty cut & dry with the leveling guides, but I wasn't sure with the dailies/events guides.

So, can you elaborate upon what will be updated in the future for those of us that buy the guides so close to the next expansion?

Perhaps those of us that buy so close to the next expansion could get an additional discount on the upgrade for Cataclysm? Even a little would make it less painful than buying something and knowing it's going to be outdated in a few months ..lol.

Just like Wrath of the Lich King, there will be a cutoff date in which we will include free updates for the Expansion. In other words, if you buy the guide say a day before Cataclysm is released, you would receive the expansion upgrade for free. All the details have not yet been worked out regarding prices though. We will know more once we can actually jump in game and see the extent of the changes.

Will the "events" portion of the guide be updated as a part of the original price when the event is not related to the new expansion? (i.e., events released for the entire server at any level range.)

Yes, all of the pre-Cataclysm events will be updated for free.
