Storm peaks full zone quests help please

i am trying to do the storm peaks full zone quests guide but i am hated by sons of hodir and can't complete the last part of guide, i cant get the quest They Took Our Men or A Spark of Hope :( i am stuck can someone help? :confused:

There is a guide for raising the Sons of Hodir reputation in the Reputation section of the Dailies & Events guide.

i am just lvl 80 thanks to the guide :D i tried the guide for boosting reputation with the son's of hodir but that says to do the storm peaks full zone quests so i dunno wat i can do to get from hated to friendly :confused:

Did the guide by chance skip any steps while you were doing the Storm Peaks guide?

If so my suggestion would be to go into the Dynamic Progression section of the guide options and set the slider to 80. Then go back to the beginning of the Storm Peaks guide and let it skip thru stuff you've already completed to find any steps/quests that might have been skipped. There's a good chance if it skipped stuff that it might have skipped some reputation building quests with Sons of Hodir.

Thanks for the reply cabby i just tried it but same issue goes straight to step 94 get the dun niffelem flight path but i can't because the person i need to talk to wants to attack me because i am hated by the sons of hodir :( do you have any other tips?

i've already done that quest and if i return to the quest giver they don't have any other quests for me :( do you have any other ideas?

the problem seems to start at step 89 accept the refiner's fire i couldn't accept it because i didn't pick up slag covered metal to start it :confused: but i ve already completed the quest to help the dwarf's to kill stormforged iron giants so is there a way to now get the slag covered metal?

From comments I'm seeing on WoWHead about this you can still get them to drop off the giants without having to be on the quest that helps the dwarfs. Supposedly it's not a 100% drop rate and you might end up having to farm for a while to get it to drop.

Thanks Cabby i've done it lol i spend a good half hour killing the giants and finally got the drop lol thanks alot for all your help :D

Glad to hear that those comments were right and hopefully this will help out anyone else that gets stuck with this little problem.

But is there a way to still pick up the quest after you have phased into the scene where all of the giants are already laying on the frozen lake dead? That is my problem... I can't find a source for the drop of the "slag covered metal" when all of these giants are already dead...

From what I've read, having the giants laying around on the ground could be an indication that you've done this and just don't remember. Try going back to the Temple of Storms and talking to Thorim to see if he gives you any of the other quests in the chain.

Don't forget that you can use Relic of Ulduar, Everfrost Chips and Emblems of Triumph to gain rep with Hodir.
