Dalaran Kid quests one time only?

Does anyone know if you can only do the Children's Week quest in Dal one time? I did the quest last year for the Wolvar, but cannot pick up the quest this year. Is this intentional or is there a bug? Thanks.

Judging from the comments over here: http://www.wowhead.com/quest=13927
it sounds like players who completed the quest chain last year have been unable to pick it up this year. Some have suggested that this is intended as a one or the other chain, but a few blue posts from Blizzards Forums says that they are "aware of and looking into the issue".

Thanks for the quick reply. That would be a bummer if you can only get one of the pets. Hope they "fix" it.
