Gold speed run

Anyone done the gold speed run? I am just wondering cause i myself and finishing up the icecrown pre quests and then hopefully by the end of the night i will be able to try that out. if you have tried it how much did you make at the end of the run? How long did it take? Thanks in advanced.

I've only got one toon that had everything unlocked. Took me 2 hours 14 minutes and three deaths to complete everything. There's a reason I hate some of those quests. After paying the bills, I had earned 346g 99s 86c, sent three greens to my enchanter to turn into dust, sent 28 frostweave cloths to my level 67 DK to turn into bandages, sent 40 frostweave cloth to my bank alt to put into auction house, put 3 mana potions into the bank, and sent two runic healing potions to my level 76 hunter.

Problems --
MAJOR Problem -- I had a trimmed down quest log and had to abandon a couple of quests in order to pick up everything I was requested to. Had I known that was the case, I'd have done a minor turn-in back at ATG after completing the Kul quest to free up log space for the later ones. Not a big deal for me at this time because I'm already done with the rest of the guide.

1) Guide directed me to the wrong boat for picking up shark meat to feed the yeti.
2) Plane got shot down 4 times so I had most of the dead viking types completed before escorting the ground crew (1st death -- got dropped into a group of 4 plus two casters hitting me from outside melee range).
3) Took 6 abomination guts to complete the blow them up quest -- had a terrible time trying to get that last geist (2nd death -- waited too long before blowing one of them up and got overrun).
4) Invasion plans (throw darts at the couriers quest) (3rd death -- drifted too close to death gate and was knocked out of the sky into those 100k hp elite giant skeleton things, I took a rez at the graveyard rather than try to get my corpse).
5) Guide tried to get me to pick up soul stones and release some spirits. Didn't have the quest. Double-checked my quest log and the quest givers when I returned to Argent Tourney grounds -- wasn't on today's menu.

Ok, started the IC pre-quests yesterday, so REALLY hope to be able to do the gold run by Saturday (do I need to do the Argent or reputation quests first?).

I also got my artisan flying, so the plan is to do the runs on a normal flying mount one day, and then super-speedy flying mount the next, so as to have a comparison based on the '300g in an hour' thing. Should be interesting :)

Time how long it takes you to do the ICC pre-quests. I am really interested to see where I am at in comparison. I do not think I am going slow (fast kills, swift flight and VERY little regen time) but I have to be about six hours into this series.

Also, since you completed the others ... how long did those take? Maybe I should have picked another area to get started :)

Erm, off the top of my head, I think the other areas took maybe 5-6 hours total? But I had a bunch of the quests already done, so it was really on Sholazar Basin (sp?) and Storm Peaks that took up time. I think I've spent about 2 hours so far on ICC, and most of that with artisan flying (and using FP if I have to go like 2 miles:)).

Yeah im about half way through the IC quests and thats the only ones i didnt do while leveling, I think im on step 170 something and just from doing those have made 1500g so hopefully by the time i get done with those and start getting used to the gold Speed run i should have enough for my epic and some to start leveling Jewlcrafting lol.

Quick question on the gold run, is it 300 gold per hour or 300 gold per day? I'm assuming per day because its dailies, and you are calculating the 300 as an approximate based off the cash rewards for the dailies and not counting anything sold from drops/crafts. I'm trying to convince a friend that this guide is worth it for the efficient cash making process, but I want to be clear on the speed runs.

Ok, finally finished the ICC pre-quests after something like 7 hours! :) Ended up with 1700g after merchant-selling some of the rewards and drops, so I'm happy with that (I think I'd made 200g before using savings to drop 4k on artisan flying).

Now onto the other parts of the guide :D

Yeah thats the main reason im using the guide everyday is to save for my epic and to level some professions : )

Just finished the Non ATG speed gold run, i couldn't hand in 3 of them because i had already done The Oracles dailies before i decided to do this, so, it took 1:27:31 to complete and i made 321g including the sale of loot earned while doing it. but if you count the 39g i would have gotten had i been able to hand the last three in 360g, which i think is pretty damn good, thank you very much zygor team.

Oh I have been doing the quests to get Crusader title also and I am up to my last faction, and i would have no idea how to get it if it was not for these guides, thanks again

Done the atg speed run for couple days now so i know a bit more what im doing and have gotten quite quick at it.
It takes me about 1 hour 25-35 mins (depending is i can get group or have to solo tfa + cit) and i get about 375-400g.
