I know i may have already asked this, but i thought it might be good to put it here.

Does SIS "guess" what quests have been completed, or does it actually query the server for completed quests and marks them as done?

It queries the server.

As of 3.3, addons are able to get a list of completed quests from the server :)

In regards to the SIS querying the server, what color will uncompleted quests be? I know i have uncompleted in Northrend, but i have been through the various sections of the guide. and looked at the quests and they are colored green (quests) and blue (goto/fly).

Here is a legend for you, may make it easier:

Green = Already fully completed
Red = Possible to complete, just not completed yet
Blue = Obsolete based on your level (also based on the Dynamic Progress options)
Gray = Impossible to complete at this time

I started using the guide from 1-30 as the old guide. I then started doing instance runs and randoms. I got from 30-41 this way, then I updated(finally) my guide. Now I'm back to using the guide, but it tells me to start quests that I can't.( 1 part in particular had me run to a small burned house to accept 2 quests only to find that I couldn't.) I'm wondering where do I start? I've tried going back to the 30-35 guide, but the guide has me doing steps I've already done. I spent 3-5 hours yesterday flying between areas, and riding boats. I really like this guide and recommend it to my friends, but I really need some help. I'm so confused I've been thinking of starting a new toon, and I REALLY don't want to. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank You in advance.
