View Full Version : SiS skipped an important step

I started a new toon on a different relm, a dwarf hunter, so no heirloom gear or raf.

the quest that got skipped was the quest chain to get your first pet. Even by going back manually and doing it, it kept on wanting to skip the rest of it every time I turned in a quest in the chain.

Maybe including an option that wont let SiS be active until a certain lvl is met?

This is actually an option that you have. Go into your Zygor options and select the Dynamic Progression section. There is a slider bar there that you can set to tell the guide how many levels ahead of the guide you want to get before the guide starts trying to skip steps. Normally a setting of about 4 is good.

What level were you when you started using the guide? Were you more than 1 level ahead of 10?

This was a fresh toon, starting at lvl 1 with the guide. I was at lvl 10 using the default settings in ZG.

Also, I'd like to report that I just started a new toon with the new update that was released today and even tho I set it to let me get 4 levels ahead right off the bat it was trying to skip straight to step 5 and after backing up to step 1 again it's still trying to skip quests and steps even tho I'm level 1.

On further reflection this might have been caused because I had checked 'Skip impossible steps'. After I un-checked that it seemed to stop trying to skip around.

Maybe the hunter pet quest chain is really bad for exp/hr
