Consensus? 58 head to Northrend?

Do you miss anything by moving to Northrend at 58? I don't want to bypass quests before northrend that I "must" have...

Are all the quests new in Northrend, and I can just manually take the guide past everything else previously?

You can go to North at 68, but I would recommend going at 70, at least. The mobs in North are a step up, like the mobs in Outland compared to the mainlands. I went at lvl 70, right when the guide instructed me to go... and not a moment too soon or too late, imo.

I agree with Kamchak. The quests in outlands are really easy when you're 68, atleast if you're a bit ahead of the guide. I had a tough time when I tried outlands at 58, atleast with some quests. A mistake I didn't want to repeat in Northrend. I've been fairly much zooming through quests after arriving there at 70, I think I'd have much more downtime and longer battles if I were 2 levels lower.

There's also the fact that the guide assumes you're 70. Some quests have you fighting elites etc, that could be too tough if you're not the level the guide thinks you are. This does of course depend on your class.

I'm at lvl 69 (and a half!) right now and I am sooo tired of Outlands I can taste it. XD What's the worst that can happen if I went to Northrend? I'd have to grind a little, maybe? I'm at the point, though, I logged off that toon and don't want to play it. I need change!


EDIT: I went ahead and went to Northrend at 69. I hit 70 really fast and even hit 71 sooner than what the guide said I should. :D
