Sadly, it appears Cartographer is not going to be maintained:

We both know that Ace3 is better than Rock, we both have worked on Ace3 too (and Ace2 which Cartographer used originally). The problem is updating Cartographer to use something other than Rock, it would require almost the entire addon to be redone from scratch.
Arrowmaster is listed as one of the additional authors. I was upset to read this because I have used Cartographer for more than 2 years and really liked it. The feedback on Cartographer 3 is not encouraging. Oh well. Another great addon bites the dust. I am very glad Zygor Guides has the Tom Tom alternative.
