"Fly to Stormwind/Ironforge" vs Deeprun Tram

If I am currently in one city and the guide tells me to fly to the other, I personally take the Deeprun Tram unless I plan to AFK during the flight to do something.

Any other thoughts on this?

You can take the tram, yes.

I dont take the tram due to time away from questing. If I need to go AFK I usually /camp.

With that said.... its your experience! Do what you like! <:-)

the tram is faster than the flight time...I always take it, yes.

The tram is only faster if you are near it, and you have no waiting for the actual tram.. Imo.

you have to wait a max of what? 30 secs? for thr tram? and the guy did say "IF i am IN THE CITY anyway"

start at the SW front gate, and time yourself. Run to the fp and fly to IF, then do it again and run to the tram and take it. See which one gets you to IF first.

Are you referring to a specific instance when it does this because Deeprun Tram is included throughout the guide?

I only think I was guided through tram that 1 time when you need to do the tram quest. All other times, it promts you to fly from SW to IF from 1-60.

Hmm I don't recall it at all so I guess we will have to look through it and correct where it does that.

So, I was roaming around and teleported to SW last night to visit the AH. The guide pointed me to the tram to get to IF instead of the bird. Granted I am WAY out of the entire SW/IF quest chains so not really sure where it was sending me but since I was simply working profs while waiting on a LFG I did not care.

Should I complain that I got sent to the tram instead of the bird? :cool:

I'm cheap as hell, I never spend the cash to take the flight path until level 20 or so when I don't need every copper just to survive.

At low levels 10-15 go Tram, and also u have the rat catching quest there 900Xp on 30 secs.
