Hi guy's and girl's
I just wanted to see what you guys thought was the best class for using this guide. ATM i have a 79 dreanai warrior, however, untill about a week ago it was an orc warrior lvl 76 so ive not really used this guide for the bulk of leveling, i used Joanas horde guide for my horde chars (obviously ;) ) and i only went alliance coz my IRL friend is alliance.
Anyway whats your opinion for the best char to Solo this guide in a reasonable time?
I play on average 20 hours a week, i know its not much but thats all i have time for.
Thanks in advance

From what I understand, the hunter has been the best for leveling. I have a lvl 32 hunter myself, and lvl him pretty quick. I also have a my lvl 55 lock, and lvl him just as fast.
My guess... its the ability to use a pet / minion that makes it much easier.

With a hunter and a warlock it's essentially the same as you duoing with a friend. Their pets are your warrior/paladin/meat shield for tanking the mobs and keeping the agro off of you while you kill the mob. Also, the pets are great as cannon fodder for those tight situations when you need a couple seconds head start to run for your life. This all combines for nice survivability along with what can be some fairly quick and steady kills. Both classes have a way to regain mana fast while not having to stop to eat or drink which means they have virtually no downtime, adding to the speed with which they can get thru the content. There are only 2 other classes I've found that come close to this "downtime free" factor, those being the paladin and the DK. A paladin can be very efficient with their mana when leveling if they wish to be (by not using spells during combat except the judgments) and a DK has no mana and only needs to use a bandage every now and then (if blood spec with all the extra self healing aspects). Supposedly an ice mage can do very well with AoE soloing after a certain level, but the time you gain doing that might not be enough to compensate for all the time lost in the lower levels constantly drinking and running for your life.
As for which race, in the end the race really doesn't matter because gear can always level the playing field.
The guide has been designed for all classes and races, and as such even tho one combo might level faster than another combo, following the guide should take roughly 1 week /played time as the quickest to 80. If you use a combo that doesn't go as fast or you spend extra time on things like professions and holiday events then you will take longer, but the most important key to it all is that you enjoy playing the combo you've picked because no matter what you'll eventually hit 80.
