Where do I start the guide?

I have two questions. I am level 67 and am starting your guide, where should I start. My other question is can I go to northrend at 68 or do you recommend starting at 70.

I read somewhere that you should start 2 levels below your level...

So start with 65-70, the first steps ;D

There's been a lot of debate over going to Northrend at 68 vs. the guide having you go at 70. It all boils down to how strictly you want to follow the guide and personal preference.

The only problem that you might encounter going to northrend at 68 is being to low to get some quests. Other than that you should be fine, considering i waited till 70 and hit 80 before i finished the 76-78 portion of the guide :P.

i tend to get ahead of the guide because i get guild memebers to run me through some instances and when i hit 58 or 68 i usually just skip to 60 and 70.
