Hey!!! I'm a proud owner of Zygor's guide for about 5 months now(took about 3 months off of WoW, not sure on exact time I've owned though :)) And i've level 3 80s already all under 10 days! I'm a massive fan of this guide but I am wondering,....I have seen varios updates of the guide on the website and I am wondering if my guide was updated or If I have to redownload Zygor's guide to get the update...? Any help would be massively helpful!

Ah I've just found out! I just redownloaded it!. So you don't have to post here... :)...Zygor I just want to say you have completely CHANGED WoW for me and I couldn't be happier! I wish you good times in all you do! Zygor's guide is a guide to never forget!

Sorry If Im mass posting here! Just have to add stuff to my post but i'm forum illogical!

The Zygor Guides 2.0 question. I downloaded it but in the video it shows a new guide picture it looks like...the Gears and stuff on it? (bad explanation sorry ahah) But mione still looks the same..(not that I'm complaining) but how could I get mine to look like that? Sorry if I'm not making much sense here!

Go to your AddOns folder and delete all the folders with Zygor and Cartographer in the name. Then go to the download page, and click the first Download Now button. Run the new auto-installer and you should have the new design ready to use.

Oh..this is weird..I deleted all the folders of Zygor or cartographer in my folder..and I went to reinstall it...when I finished I checked my addon folder and Zygor or Cartographer was no where to be found o-o...

Still not working..I download it..send it to the right place Interface\Addons i'm downloaded them both..they are checked...but when I check the folders or log onto WoW it doesn't show them on my list ..=[

Did you run the auto-installer? Is the guide showing up inside the game?

The reason it might not be in your addons folder is because you might have been installing to the wrong addons folder. Vista has a special place it installs addons which is different than Windows XP.

I'm running on vista, I did do the auto installer. It had the selected folder to place it but I made sure it was going in the addon folder. Finished installing opened WoW and it's not on my Addon list and neither is Cartographer. =/

Okay here's everything I'm doing. Open up the download Wizard thing.

1. Click next
2. Click I Agree
3. The directory where it's going says C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons
4. Click Next
5. Make sure to have both Zygor and CartoGrapher checked.
6. Install
7. Has Launch World of Warcraft checked (tried w/o it checked as well)
8. Click Finish



I hope this will get fixed T_T.

Delete all folders inside your AddOns folder with Cartographer or Zygor in their name. Delete the Zygor auto-installer file you have on your computer. Go to the download page in our Members Area for the guide you are trying to download. Hit F5 on your keyboard to do a hard refresh of the page. Download the new auto-installer from our website, which we just updated today.

For Vista, if you installed WoW in the default location, the auto-installer's installation folder should say:
C: \ Users \ Public \ Games \ World of Warcraft \ Interface \ AddOns

If it doesn't, please take a screenshot of the installer and post it here. Thank you.

Okay heres what I did...I didn't understand why the auto installer didn't work so I tried manually installing and it worked fine! It was most likely a bug on my behalf though considering I'm stupid with computers! Thank you so much for the help! I wouldn't have checked out manual install if I didn't try to install it various times xDD!!!

I think the problem lies in this:

You said you installed it at: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons

If I remember correctly I did the Same exact thing and I never saw anything besides a new "interface" file IN the addons folder.

Basically I just installed it at C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\

Because I think the auto-installer has it to where it saves it there in the interface folder\Addons folder.

(I think) that's just what happened to me.
