Guid seems to be working well. however, when I started mid level with this seems to be a bit confusing. also leaving out some crucial steps/pre quests for some of your starting off steps.

The talent tree help section should start at the lowest level when points are available. as a good guide to start with. this was not accessable to my lvl 30 mage. and found no healing tree for priest. Did i not see that section?

I must say that I did level rather quickly one full level.

Question: will some of these suggested guids lead to instances?

The mage leveling build should have been accessible to your Mage from level 1 on, let alone level 30. Right click the large Z button on the mini-map, on the left panel click Zygir Talent Advisor, and use the drop down menu laveled Select a build to choose the build you want to use. The guide only supplies builds for leveling and PVP, healing builds have not been added yet.

No, the guide does not take you through any instances.

I think there is a misunderstanding here. In the future, do you guys plan to release an instance guide? I think the OP meant to ask this question, based on the success of the leveling guides so far. I hope that clears it up.

Ok, well, an instance guide is highly unlikely because waypoints cannot be set in almost all of the instances.

Hello, love the guild. Just one thing I'm having a problem with, and that is previewing the talent trees. The guild tell me that my points don't follow any of the builds and to reset my points or get dual spec. Is there a way to just preview the builds without me paying gold. Hope to hear from you soon, thank you.

Have the same question. Can't seem to find it either.

I look into elitistjerks.com to find a talent tree that is not guide related.

For my druid I spend most my time in dungeons as a healer, and Zygor does not provide for the resto tree.

Also, once you hit 80 chances are you will need to change your talents anyway. Once again, I go to elitisjerks.com for this information.

Ya, my characters were all highly or somewhat leveled before using the Zygor guides, so I had my talent builds figured out, but it seems that it wouldn't be difficult to either provide the different builds on the forum here, or link to Armory so that folks could review them in advance and decide if they are interested in switching over or not.

Since there has been so much work put into the SIS and the talent adviser I assumed the builds would be available for viewing here somewhere rather than just expecting players to dump their points and hope for the best with the provided builds. I am following the guide builds with new toons, but am reluctant to take the plunge with my more highly leveled ones without knowing in advance what I am getting.

You can always create your own builds for use with the Talent Advisor. The sticky in the General forums explains how to do it and there are many builds in there already. I personally use slightly altered builds from the suggested Zygor builds.

Ya, but how do you know what the suggested build looks like unless you can SEE it? Why can't they be posted so we can decide ahead of time?

You can look at what the talents are by opening the /Interface/AddOns/ZygorTalentViewer/Builds/ZygorGuidesBuilds.lua file and seeing what they are. If you really need to see it visually you can use WoWHead or the Armory.

Don't forget what this guide (and as a direct result, this forum) is about.... solo leveling.

Everything else is up to you.

Not trying to be a jerk here, but I equate these types of requests similar to complaining about the carpet cleaner I purchased because it won't wash my dog as well. Not what it was designed to do.

Thanks!

That's what I was looking for. Perhaps in future a simpler way would be a nice feature.

Sorry but I don't see the comparison.

All I asked was if the talent builds were available for viewing anywhere on the forum/site/or in the game without committing to them first. Doesn't seem like an unreasonable question, or a difficult thing to provide.

I don't have special requirements, PVP, raids or anything . I am simply leveling toons like everyone else here, but when I start a new character I always look around at various leveling builds to see what they offer, especially at lower levels, as I am sure other players do. It is just difficult to assess which build to go with without seeing them first. It may be a matter of the order in which points are spent, or some other simple difference, but it is necessary to see the builds before committing to them as they cost an increasing amount of gold to unlearn. I certainly enjoy the convenience of the talent adviser feature on the Zygor guide, and am using it on my new characters, but to make an educated decision about toons that are already somewhat leveled, I think it is important to see what you are getting into before making the commitment to switch.

For instance, I have a few toons at low levels but the talent adviser simply states that my build doesn't match the provided build specs. If it was only a point or two out of place, I could work towards getting in line with the recommended build on my own without unlearning the existing one at the trainer. If the build was available for viewing I could see what would be required.

I'm sorry about the long winded post, but I just don't see the problem with this request. They could be easily provided in a text post stickied at the top of the talent thread. Not difficult and of great use to users.

I am a huge fan of the Zygor Guides and have recommended them to my friends who have also subsequently purchased them. I am not in any way complaining or griping about things. The guides have been enormously useful and have changed the game for me, since leveling numerous alts is my main activity in WOW, and I certainly appreciate all the ongoing work that being done here to constantly make the guides better.

The talent advisor will give you 2 different messages if it doesn't fit with what you have already spent points in. One message, like you said, basically tells you that it doesn't fit and won't work. This means you have points spent in talents that are not part of that spec so there's no way to complete the spec being chosen. The other message tells you that points are picked out of order and will tell you how many levels it will take the advisor to get synced up with the points you've already spent.

Thanks Cabby. Pretty much what I was gonna post. :)
