Picking up mid-level

Hi all,
First time trying out the guides and I have a question that I can't seem to find an answer to anywhere. If I am picking up the guide for a character that is lvl 55 currently, how am I to know what quests I should have in my log and what I should pick up etc... It seems hard to figure out what to do. Should I skip steps? Thanks for the help

We recommend you find where the guide says to be level 53, and start from there. Go step-by-step with the guide, and just skip anything you come across that you cannot do. Eventually, you will get on track.

Soon, when patch 3.3 is released, our guides will be able to automatically detect what you've done with a character prior to buying our guides. So, hopefully that comes soon, as it's impossible for our guides to be able to do that right now.

What i usually do is Go backwards or forwards to a zone that i have not started yet. It works well and the level differnce usually isnt a problem

when i first started Zyogrs i started it at around lvl 33, i started at lvl30 on the guide i Think and it only took me around 2 hours to get myself sorted and in synch with the guide.
