This is a small complaint, but...

Step 39 in the main 13-20 part of the guide does not auto-clear when you arrive/pick up the oats. somewhat annoying as I have the border set to disappear so I had to go over there, wait for it to reappear, then manually click next

Really not a big thing, but something to think about? >.>

I believe that step purposefully is left to not auto-complete, so you can read the extra instructions that tell you to pick up the rest of the Oat bags around Westfall as you walk around. Will try to improve it, though.

Well, it would have been less annoying if I hadn't had to figure out that I had to hover over where the title is to get the buttons to come back up :X

In all quests except that one in v.1, it auto-advances. You left out the objective for "Poor Old Blanchy". I'm certain if you add the objective:

Bag of Oat: 0/8

Going all the way to 8/8, the step would auto-advance. Just my two cents.

I don't know if you chose the auto-hide option on purpose but if you click the checkmark button on the guide you can disable it so the buttons always show.

The reason the step doesn't auto complete is because the oats are all over the place instead of being congested in one spot. Having the player try to collect all 8 oats in that one spot would slow things down unnecessarily. The idea is to tell them to look out for the oats and collect them as they move about doing other quests. I think a better solution for the problem would be to allow a skip step button in auto-hide mode without having to bring the GUI frame back up.

Oh. I actually quite dislike the skin on it and prefer the cleaner look with the border auto hidden :)

And complaint dropped >.>
I just kinda thought the step unnecessary but I suppose that is because I already had 8 (and do almost every time I level an alt) by that point

Haell,

I don't use the auto-hide option (at least, I think I don't). There are five farms in Westfall (Jansen, Furlbrow, Alexston, Molsen?, and Saldean), so we know that the oats are spread out. I think that is understood. The good thing about the guide is that, in Westfall, it already has 8 quests picked up and keeps track of all of them. Once the other quests are completed, it will jump to the next uncompleted step.

So, why not add the code from my previous post in the thread, thereby causing the step to auto-advance to the next incomplete step?

I've already explained why we don't make it auto-complete, 6 posts above in this thread:

"I believe that step purposefully is left to not auto-complete, so you can read the extra instructions that tell you to pick up the rest of the Oat bags around Westfall as you walk around. Will try to improve it, though."

It's made to not auto-complete so that you will actually read the information, instead of just going to grab the oats and letting it auto-complete without reading the guide, as many do.

I see. I guess that there can be no way to auto-complete the step, then.:o

Lol. It is just one step in several hundred I did that night. Of those several hundred, it was the only I had a complaint about. Not a big deal >.>
Forget I said anything >.>
