Revealed Map

Greetings,
I'm trying to go back and do various low level accomplishments on my Death Knight but I noticed that I can't really tell where I've been and where I haven't been. Any idea how to disable to automap revealer until I'm done earning achievements (just taking a break from leveling).

Any ideas? :confused:

Hello dla_kemper,

Please follow the following steps to disable the automap revealer:

1) Type '/cartographer' in your chat window.
2) Click on the little '+' next to 'Cartographer'.
3) Go to 'Foglight'.
4) Make sure 'Enabled' is unchecked.

rather than disable the foglight altogether, you can just change the colour and alpha (transparency) of the foglight so you can still see the unexplored areas of the map but in a different colour ( I have mine set to pale blue and high transsparency so i I can still see all the map but unexplored areas have a slight blue tinge to it)

There is also another way to do this and that is to use your achievements to help you for the explorer achievement. Once you have explored an area, it will turn green and the unexplored areas are of course, grayed out.
