The Model Viewer is a separate frame located to the left side of the Guide Viewer by default. It renders 3D models of any NPC's or quest items you need to interact with.
Like the Guide Viewer it has controls and settings of its own which can be accessed by hovering over the Model Viewer itself. You can lock the Model Viewer in place with its lock button or close it by hitting the "x" button.
