How to Update Zygor Guides to the Latest Version

How to See What Version of Zygor Guides You Have:
The first thing you should do is check to see what version of the guide you are currently using. To do this, go in game and right click the "Z" icon on the mini map. Then click Create a Bug Report. This will generate a bunch of code, and the version number you are using will be listed as v.2.x.xxx. The last three numbers are the version number you are using.

How to See What Version of Zygor Guides is the Latest:
The easiest way to check the current version of Zygor Guides is to login to the Members Area, click the guide you want to check in under Product Downloads, and you will see the version number listed.

You can also check the latest version by running the installer. On the first screen click Next (If you are running World of Warcraft you will be warned to close the game first). The next screen will ask you if you would like to check to make sure that what you are installing is the latest version of the guide.

How to Update Zygor Guides to the Latest Version:
The process of updating the guide is broken down into two major steps. Deleting the old version of the guide and all of it's components is the first step. The second is to install the new version of the guide.

For the first step, you will need to go to your AddOns directory. By default, it is located at:

Windows XP:
C: \ Program Files \ World of Warcraft \ Interface \ AddOns

For Windows Vista:
C: \ Users \ Public \ Games \ World of Warcraft \ Interface \ AddOns

Mac:
Macintosh HD \ Applications \ World of Warcraft \ Interface \ AddOns

Inside your AddOns folder, delete the ZygorGuidesViewer and ZygorTalentAdvisor folders. After that, you can follow the usual process for installing the guide listed below:
