Hey!
We've finally implemented a proper starting solution, to help you get on your proper questing track as fast as possible if you've never used the guides before. But, to make sure it works as intended, we need your feedback.
Here's how it works now for characters that have never followed the guide:
1. The starter guide for your race is loaded.
2. The addon will start skipping past the quests you no longer need (they'll be marked blue) or quests you might have already completed (green here).
3. Right-click the "next step" arrow, have it fast-forward through any steps you no longer need. The addon will speed past dozens of steps quickly.
3. It may stop on flight path pickups, as it cannot easily tell if you have this flight path or not. You'll have to visit a flight master on each continent and display the flight map for it to remember which flight points you have.
4. It will finally stop on a step that you can actually complete, and it will likely be a bit below your level. Don't skip it, even if you're level 50 and that step is for a level 40! It means that this quest begins a quest chain which leads up to your 50, so you'll probably need it!
5. After a few of those "chain starters", the guide will probably skip again and again, until you're close to your level.
Now, all we need from YOU, is a testimony here in this forum. What race/class/level were you when you first loaded the guides for this character? What did the guide tell you to do? How long did it take to start doing quests on your level?
If it does indeed take too long, we'll try to find ways to get you on track even faster. If it's just right, share the joy.
