I just tested this fast to make sure I'm stepping you thru the whole process properly. Here it goes.

First go to your WoW addons directory, then into ZygorTalentAdvisor/Builds folder. In this folder is where the ZygorGuidesBuilds.lua is that you modified. Create a new text file in this directory and name it Build01.lua then open it for editing. Copy and paste the following as the very first line:

Then enter a blank line to make it look neat and copy and paste in your paladin build you made. Save the file and then when you log into WoW the Talent Advisor will automatically add your build to the available ones in the configuration.

This will allow you to get any updates from Zygor that might change the ZygorGuidesBuilds.lua file without affecting your personal builds file.

Hello everybody,

Sorry I haven't been on very much! My cat died yesterday, so I've been comforting my wife, and my mom went to Colorado for the weekend and so she's paying me to watch her house and dogs. When I can get the time, I'll be sure to help you guys out with the builds, but it seems cabby is doing a great job doing so.

Follow his instructions, and you should be okay. If you don't understand everything, then just read his instructions, and follow them step by step. Create a new file <name>.lua (replace <name> with the name of your build) and copy + paste the build created by/for you. If you read what ZGDev had to say, it should be fairly self-explanatory.

Again, sorry I haven't been on much, I'll try and get on more later when I'm not getting ready for work. Thanks for the understanding!

On another note would I need new folder for each build? Or put all into one folder

Hello 0110,

You shouldn't need another folder. Just place it inside of the /Builds/ folder, and it should be working just fine ;-).

Not sure but I believe this is the problem. If you could test and let us know if this got the original one for you working that would be great as it would help us to spot something like this in the future for others having problems.

Hello,

I believe what cabby said was correct. I believe the last talent 'Illumination' was being read as 'Illumination]],[[' which, in turns, would not allow you to use that build ;-). I'm not quite sure how it would all be 'compilied' if you will, but that's my two cents regarding it.
