Five second stutter

I have been trying to play the game recently and it's becoming unbearable with Zygor running. I disabled all of my addons last night, except for zygor, and it still stutters very badly. As soon as I disable zygor, all is well again. I probably get like a 2 second lag every 5 seconds or so. I am not sure how to fix it. I am going to try to uninstall and reinstall the guides and see what happens.

Ok...I reinstalled the guides and everything and my 5 second stutter is happening every 2 or 3 seconds now. I've been trying to figure out a way to record what I am seeing because I've never seen Zygor run *this* badly.

Try this for a test.


1. Exit the game
2. Go to your WoW/Cache folder and delete everything in there
3. Go to your WoW folder and rename the Interface and WTF folders to Interface.Old and WTF.Old
4. Run the Zygor desktop client, click the refresh button in the top right, and then click on the Install button
5. Go in game to test and then let me know if that fixed it

I was hoping to not have to take such a drastic measure, but that worked. Time to rewrite all of my TRP files because I forgot to back them up now. :P

Nevermind that! As soon as I reloaded the Cataclysmically Delicious guide it started doing it again. I haven't reloaded any other addons except for Zygor.

Edit: Then as soon as I switched back to the Legion world quest section it stopped again.

Are there any other guides that do this or is it just that Cataclysmically Delicious guide doing it for you? Alliance or Horde toon?

Horde. I am going through all of them slowly as I get ready for an appointment, and so far it's just that one.

Is there maybe a specific step in the Cataclysmically Delicious guide that does it? I've been running around checking different steps on a Horde toon and I'm not getting any stutter with that guide.

I just got back home. I will start at the beginning of it and see.

Looks like it starts on step 4 and 5, but then is fine on 6. It starts again on step 7 and is fine until step 15 when it starts again. It's fine again until 21 and begins again there.

One thing that I noticed when I was doing the achievement is that step 3 never completes for me in the guide even if it shows as completed in my achievements. I had to actually click the arrow button to get past it.

Hmm, I was just running thru all of those beginning steps on a Horde toon and didn't notice any stuttering at all.

It looks like Blizzard has changed around the objective order for the achievement which is why step 3 doesn't auto-complete so that might have something to do with the stutter you see. I'll get it added to our list to have the objective numbers fixed.

Thanks a bunch! I don't know why I'm getting all of the stuttering. It does make me feel a little better that it seems to go away for a few steps before coming back again. :P
