World Quest Guide - I broke it

So last night a guildmate posted an addon to help with world quests. (https://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/worldquestgroupfinder)

I installed it, it worked fine and functioned as it said: adding world quests to group finder automatically. Great.

However since doing that your world quest guides won't load. I checked a few topics here and noted that Zygor guides use the default Blizzard quest tracker, so I assume the addon replaced this and that is why it is now broken.

The problem is that just disabling or uninstalling the addon does not restore WoW to using the default quest tracker, and I don't know how to do it manually. I deleted the Cache, Interface and WTF folders for my WoW installation (after backing them up) and reinstalled Zygor guides but still no joy.

Is there a file I can edit or replace to resume the default quest tracking functionality that Blizzard uses?

Obviously this is all assuming what I am saying is correct, but I can't see what else would be the problem. (Also if it is of any relevance the 'enable minimap button' toggle now doesn't work either and was fine before I installed the new addon, so this functionality is also currently broken and not solved by the steps I have outlined above)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There was a bug in the update we released yesterday that was keeping the guide viewer from detecting what world quests you picked. We released a fix for that this morning so please update your guides and try again.

Oh wow what a coincidence that was then! I feel a bit silly for going through all that trouble, but I was just trying to be procative and find a solution for myself using the information that had been provided to other users with a similar issue

Well thank you: for the great product, prompt correcting of bugs, and brilliant customer service. People are quick to complain but I have had nothing but a great experience so far

One minor annoyance is still persisting, the minimap button isn't working so the Zygor "Z" logo isn't there to click.

I've toggled it off, toggled it on, logged out, logged in, but the check box in Zygor Guides Viewer -> Extras -> Other -> Enable Minimap Button just does nothing now.

It's not a deal breaker, I've now set up a keybinding to toggle the guide on and off, but I would be grateful if I could get it to work as intended!

Double check to make sure it's not hidden behind any other mini map buttons. Sometimes if you have other mini map buttons in the same area it can get hidden under them and you miss seeing it.

Do you also use the World Quest Tracker addon?

I am not sure about him, but i did. I turned it off when i noticed that it didn't work with zygor. any chance that it might be made compatible at some point? -- ignore this, i found the reply on another post to turn off the top option in world quest tracker to make it work

We are looking at ways to make the guide viewer work with the WQT addon so that nothing has to be disabled.
