What will happen with patch 7.1

Hi, all Addons with way leads etc positioning will not longer work with WoW. So how do you adept to this?

The only thing that Blizzard changes is coordinates in dungeons and raids.
Blizzard wants in particular to prevent addons from showing relative player positions in raid encounters.
Normal questing will not be affected.

According to THIS post by Blizzard using coordinates in dungeons may completely stop working so this would affect dungeon guides.

There is only one function being changed that might affect the guides and that would only possibly affect the ability of the arrow to tell you the distance to the next waypoint while in dungeons/raids. Blizzard is not killing the coordinate system in the dungeons/raids, they are just making it so that an addon will not know where a player is in that instance. So an arrow should still be able to show you where to go (you can still set a waypoint and point to that waypoint), just not tell you where you are in relation to that waypoint.

Since the travel system tries to determine the fastest route between where the waypoint is and where the player is standing that will not work in the dungeons/raids. All we need to do is code it so that the travel system is disabled when in those instances and have it just be a basic TomTom-like arrow that simply points to where the waypoint is without having to know where you are standing.
