DK Blood Spec Apocalypse?

Is there a way to get the guide to stop trying to equip the Unholy artifact, Apocalypse instead of the Maw of the Dead? I currently have the Alliance Lance equipped from working on the Argent Tourney. I made sure I even cleared declined suggestions. However, when I loot a corpse, it keeps trying to equip Apocalypse while I'm running around in my Blood Spec.

The base stats on those 2 artifacts are identical which means the gear system will see them both as valid artifact weapons for either spec. Depending on what the difference is in the ilvl of the two artifacts it's possible that the Apocalypse would be a better upgrade with the stats. And both of them are upgrades when compared to the ATG lance. The only thing you can do right now is to set the gear system to only suggest and not try to auto-equip the items. Then when it pops up to suggest the artifact just close the pop up window and it should remain in your Notifications Center until you're ready to drop the lance.

I'll probably end up doing this, but if that's the only work-around for it, would it be possible for the gear suggest function to "read" that Apocalypse is Unholy only so as to not suggest it as a viable option?

That is something we might be able to get implemented in the future if that item tag is passed from the game to addons. I'm not sure if that gets passed thru.
