Lack of Guide

I know that has been brought up in other posts but here are my thoughts...
I'm also getting a little annoyed that profession guides are not being completed yet they can make the time to have a guide to get the Rocfeather Skyhorn Kite. I was understanding that profession guide wasn't available day 1 but we're almost 30 days into the expac and I think the majority of people are 110 and ready to work on professions using Zygor. I'm paying for a monthly subscription and have to go to the web to find a professions guide that I can get for free. There are so many great qualities that Zygor Guides provide to make things simple but I'm finding that more and more things are easily available for free that zygor isn't providing that it's starting to make paying for Zygor obsolete. I get things take time but the money that is being made on the sale of guides and monthly subs that things should be made a priority and I personally think leveling and professions guides should be a priority not toys.

I am waiting on the profession guides also I have 4 110 toons and really would be nice to hav the guides for professions released among other guides, I am really thinking about cutting off my sub cause at 110 there is just no reason much to have them with the professions and mount and other guides.

Yea, the lack of having guides for something as important as the profession chains is quite disappointing. I've used Zygor for a long time now and I don't recall ever having to wait so long for what I consider "core" content. Frankly, I would consider having the profession guides as being more important and a higher priority than the World Quest guides. (In other words, I would have like to have seen them be the next thing added after the leveling guides.)

It's hard to shake the feeling that the priority of things followed by the Zygor team is just far skewed from mine (and perhaps others on here as well.) I want CONTENT guides and ways to get through quests more easily and quickly. All of this time/energy spent on guides to make gold, upgrade gear, etc. ...I just don't see the point in it. Is making gold actually difficult for anyone?

Once the guides are released and you see how much farming you have to do for Legion professions you will start to understand why it's taking so long to get them created. We've had days where we farm for 8 hours before we get the one drop needed to continue writing the guides. Blizzard has not made profession leveling easy like they did for MoP or WoD and that is translating over into more time needed for us to create the guides.

But you had 6+ months of beta to do this... and the drops rates in beta are typically waaaay higher in beta.

While drops may be higher in beta that doesn't mean the correct recipes or paths are there. Also, beta did not start until May which is not 6 months of beta time.

I've already done the leatherworking and skinning professions from beginning to end and I don't recall massive farming honestly. Most of the quests were "go here, do that, return". The skinning ones did have things like "skin tons of stuff until you get a rare drop".

Anyway, my memory is that most of the quests were similar to regular leveling quests. None of it was really hard (other than the stupid Leatherworking quest where you had to following that mount across the zone for an hour), ...but, it would have made it quicker to have a guide.

Come on now everyone! Other guides that have monthly subs and a In-game addon/tool are behind as well! Give them some time. I understand the frustration as I am also waiting for content. I am very pleased with what they offer and have completed thus far. I have come from other paid guide services and Zygor is the most polished one I have used. SO THANKS TO THE TEAM ! And as for everyone else... well I'm just going to keep things PG and walk away from the comp...
