Keeps skipping to next guide - do not want to

I am a level 98 trying to get through the Spires of Arak (96-98) guide. Every time I finish a part of this guide it is not highlighting as finished. When I manually say Complete, it starts scrolling through the whole guide trying to get me to the next guide.

Thoughts?

Are the steps it's scrolling past green or red?

Color blind... no idea (which is something else to consider), but they were steps I could/had to do. I kept plowing through and it has now resolved itself. Not sure what was going on.

If you go into the guide viewer settings in the Guide Viewer section below the Reset windows button there is a check box to Show Advanced Customization Options. If you check that box you will see more options for the step display and there is a section there where you can change the background colors for the step lines to ones you will be able to see and understand. Normally the Incomplete lines are red and the Complete lines are green. We tried to use the colors for traffic lights as most people will understand the meanings of those colors. The Incomplete color is to indicate when the guide should stop to tell you that you need to do that step, the Complete color is to say that it has already been done and you can skip ahead to the next step.

I'm guessing that the steps that it was skipping were grey in color (Impossible) meaning there was some pre-requisite quest that was not completed that prevented you from being able to accept those quests. In that case the guides would also skip past them as if they had already been completed.

Wow... changing the colors is great! SO MUCH better!

Yep, there could have been a grey one. But it still just raced on ahead through the whole guide ( I was on step 4 or 5 when it started). After manually clicking complete on a few it straightened out.
