Gear suggestion suggests others specs artifacts (Druid)

I'm collecting all the spec artifact weapons and the gear adviser keep asking me to switch to the other spec weapons, and I can't use those.
For instance, I did feral first, then balance. When I switched to guardian spec it asked me to use the staff. Now when I'm in restoration the guide keeps asking me to use the staff again.
I guess it's the same with all classes that each artifact is bound to one spec so the problem would be the same for all classes.

Have you made sure you're running the latest version of the guides? Have you tested with all other addons disabled? It's not trying to tell me to equip my MM bow when I am in my BM spec on my hunter.

Yeah sorry, I was just about to add that I am using 6.0.14627 which is the latest according to the client.
The behavior is the same with all other addons disabled.

I also tried to unequip the claws so the weapon slots are empty, then log out and log in back again and the guide suggests the balance staff when I'm in resto.
Maybe it does not do so for you as you have the correct artifacts in your bags?
I dont have the artifact for resto yet.

Do you have any other non-artifact weapons that would be appropriate for the resto spec? It could be trying to recommend the artifacts if you have no appropriate weapons for that spec.

I did a test right now.
In my bags I have a pvp dagger I used for restoration in WOD, "primal combatant's spellblade".
If I put the G'Hanir (restoration artifact) in the bank the guide immediately suggests I equip the balance staff.

Ok, now the important thing to check is what are the stats on the dagger vs. the stats on the staff and then also to compare the scores for those items when you multiply the stats by the stat weights for resto.

Without doing the math I'd say it looks like the staff would definitely score a lot higher than the dagger so that's why it's being suggested. I do not think that the gear system is able to know that an artifact is bound to a specific spec so right now it should just not try to replace an artifact if you have one equipped.

Yeah I totally get that and it's not a big problem.
The balance staff has much better stats than the dagger so it would be a better choice if only I could equip it.
If you say the system can not handle it then we can drop it right here I got my restoration artifact now, just thought I should report a problem I found.
