whistle vs hearthstone suggestion

For a quest direction, it said I should hearth to Dalaran to get a flightpath to my next location. But I have the Flightmaster's Whistle. I used that instead and it gave me a quicker flight path. I'm wondering if it's possible to account for a player having the whistle and recommend using that instead of hearthing to dalaran?
