The tomtom keeps telling you to go through the portal while you are in the cave. Even if the quest is in the cave

Please make sure you have the latest version of the guides. Which cave are you having a problem with?

Using whatever was the latest update as of 9/1 at ~5pm EST. The main quest hub in the center of the zone. The temple you are restoring and adding portals too. The arrow and instruction always point to a portal instead of an objective while you are inside even when the objective is right next to you.

Just to be clear, you are referring to the waypoint arrow that is built into our guides, right? You're not using the TomTom addon in addition to our guides, correct?

Also, if you are using our arrow which arrow skin are you using?

I'm having exactly the same problem. Latest guides installed, did a repair as well. The skin is the default one
