I am currently going through BC content but I'm finding if it more efficient to start a new zone 2 levels earlier then recommended is there any way to adjust the notification to send you to a new zone 2 levels earlier.

There is no way to adjust when it recommends the next zone/guide.

You could just manually load the next guide, if you want to go there earlier, as well.
