New zones while leveling

I noticed while leveling the guide does not immediatly send me to the next possible zone when I am able too.

Pretty sure it's faster to go to the next zone asap.
Especially when you hit 58 and should go to Outlands.

Thoughts?

We don't send to Outlands/Northrend early because not everyone will be able to handle the harder mobs at those earlier levels. There are also some quests that have level requirements and it's possible to not have them available if you move to those new areas early.

I depends on where you are, where the next zone is and how fast you outlevel zones (due to XP bonus from heirlooms).
I normally always completed a zone and if possible completely skipped whole zones instead of starting every zone and leaving them early.
I once tried immediately moving on to the next zone when the guide suggested it and I ended up spending so much time traveling that in the end I even leveled slower.
