Alchemy Guide

It's really hard to describe, but when I am working on my alchemy on my hunter, (Next time It happens, I'll SS and upload that...), Its like...gets stuck and I have to manuallly move it past creation an item, but I have to use the arrow, I cant just right click saying skip step or mark as complete. I have to move arrow (It also greays out the "Level skill (29 skill points) type box....) Currently on step...Ok., thats confusing too. If you have any questions, I'll be around for a bit as its storming...so Yea....Just thought to let you klnow, maybe you have a fix or something

For some reason, I am uploading Jpeg files and it is saying that its an invalid file type...so I will show you in a video form...Recording it now (I knwo I can at least link a video to you)

I'm having similar issues with the blackmithing guide. It says Gain 24 skill points creating Rough Sharpening Stone but when I do, it doesn't update in the guide. The guide still says gain 24 points after I've gained the points and am ready to move on to the next step. Also, previously when I clicked on the icon in the Zygor box it would start creating the required recipe, as in it would start creating the Rough Sharpening stone, but now it just opens and closes the profession window.

I'm not having an issue with it closing the profession window. I am relieved (sadly) to know I am not the only one having an issue! I am sure Zygor will be adding it to the List. So many problems right now, but at least...Unlike the gold guide, the profession guide is somewhat usable

Yeah, forum image uploads are a bit messed up right now.

Is that a new intro and outro on the video from the last time you had posted a vid?

Try doing a full guide wipe/reset.


1. exit WoW
2. go to the WoW/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
3. go to the WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. run the installer client and install a fresh copy of the guides

When that's done go back in game and disable all other addons to test with only Zygor running to see if it's still happening.

Since I posted a video I didnt have an intro or outro, and yes...It is I didnt know you paid that much attention to it :P Anyways, Let me finish this episode of The Originals and I will check the tips you said...and see if that fixes the issue! but hey, Forum image uploads are messed up, but at least I got my videos, right? I can tell thaT AT least gave you an idea of where to look.

I have done everything you have asked for and I am only running Zygor right now. and I am still having the same problem Any other ideas??? I'm open to any other idea if any

If the fresh install and all other addons disabled didn't get it to work correctly it might be some change in the API for the crafting window that is messing with things. I"ll put this on our list for our devs to check out.

I watch a lot of YouTube videos and it's not that I was paying attention to it as much as I couldn't remember seeing an intro/outro on your previous videos. I try to at least make sure I watch videos that people link in the forums to see what everyone says about the guides.

I am still quite impressed that you even couldnt remember seeing an intro/outro before. Because...well, I have grown...as a Youtuber a lot in the recent year and as an artist myself Thansk I appreciate you putting this on your list of things to check out!
