The ashtongue Broken

I started the shadowmoon valley questing/leveling guide at level 68, playing as an aliance character. I got to a step that asked me to go grab a quest titled The ashtongue broken. It brought me right to a horde questing hub and i got killed. is this a bug and might it need to be fixed in the guide?

That is not a Horde questing hub, that is a Scryers faction questing hub. What is your reputation with The Scryers?

Do not have a reputation with the scryers. but the guide started me from shadowmoon village where i followed it until it brought me into the scryers hub. Side note: i only started using the guides once i hit level 68.

If you never picked a side (Scryers or Aldor) then you will be considered to be neutral reputation with both factions. Unfortunately both factions will not like you until you finally pick one of them in Shatt. This is probably what caused the guides to send you here thinking you are on good terms with them.

I would highly recommend you run the Terokkar Forest guide beginning to get a side picked before continuing on to ensure that this type of thing does not happen again.
