WOW Talador skips from #6 quest to #247!

LOVE Zygor!
But now it's useless! Working on Draenor in Talador and got to quest #6. It then skips to #247 and no way to get back!
Tried: complete WIPE of Zygor and reinstall
updated Java
computer restart, Wow restart
going into Zygor settings and disabling step progress

Nothing works!
Please help!

Did you do those quests previously? Did you try disabling all other addons to make sure nothing is conflicting?

I did disable other addons and had not played any of the quests previously. New area, never done before.

When you open the guide selection window what does it show for your version number in the lower left corner?

I looked at the guide (I assume it's the Alliance guide) and this behaviour is correct if you choose the Arcane Sanctum outpost building.

Step 6 accpets "An Audience With The Archmage" and moves on to step 246 where you set your hearthstone and step 247 where you do the "Bonus Objective: Orunai Coast" when you have the Arcane Sanctum built.

If you build the Artillery Tower step 6 accepts "The Quarry Quandary" and then the guide moves on with step 7 where you find "Master Smith Ared" for the quest "The Quarry Quandary".

Edit: you can always move through the guide step by step ignoring any jumps by holding CTRL and ALT pressed when clicking the next and previous step buttons.

I htink it's possible to switch the building but it may cost some gold and I don't know if it's possible before you completed the quest line. I see if I can find out more and report back in a few minutes.

It seems it's only possible to change the outpost building if you have the zone quest achievement and level 100:

So sadly you need to quest through the zone on your own or at least you can't both progress through your quest chains at the same time.
But you can still do some stuff together like the bonus objectives or killing rare mobs.

Edit: if you have the time you can try to contact a gamemaster. If you did not progress further and abandon the first quest after choosing the building ("An Audience With The Archmage") it might be possible they can revert the building selection.

Restarting the guide will take it to the next quest in the line depending on what option you chose for your base.
