Legion Updates

So, I have been a loyal and pleased zygor customer for awhile and I have not heard you guys mention legion at all. So I am wondering whats the deal?

We've been in the beta, working on updating as much as possible for a while now. We will have a lot of content ready and polished for Legion release, with the rest coming shortly after.

Sorry but this seems a bit stupid... you've got people paying a monthly sub and to be honest most people only care about Legion at this moment in time. From a number of posts the message seems to be will have a chunk ready for August 30th with the rest to follow. Why are you not taking advantage of people with Beta access to improve the quality for launch? Seems a little short-sighted...

This is how we have always done it for expansions.

And there has always been broken quests chains, look at the amount of updates you push out at the time. You haven't always done subscriptions for expansions so clearly things change. Having early access gives your customers a greater level of confidence in the product and improves the overall quality... it's a no-brainer.

The reason there are always fixes needed is because Blizzard changes things between beta and live and they do not let any addon authors know about the changes. There is no amount of help that you or any other customer could give in the beta that will remove those issues.

Will you be releasing a pre Legion Update inline with Blizzards Pre Legion Update?

Yes, we will be having an update for the pre-expansion patch tomorrow.

Now may be a good time to reconsider your past approach. Not complaining - many of us are also involved with software development, and are willing to give you some free feedback. Why not give it a try? No need to respond - just seriously consider it.
