For the Extinguishing Kalimdor, the travel system appears to be messing up It's telling me to go places where there's no fires. Just random locations. For the Barrens one, it just led me to the ravine, which there's no fire for.

Alliance or Horde guide?

To add to this, the travel system tells me to go to 56;60 (orgrimmar (so obviously the horde guide)) to find the flame eater (which should actually be master flame eater, as they are different) however he is found in the valley of wisdom (~47;38). This is to accept the playing with fire quest. Furthermore it would be awesome if you could update the Midsummer festival achievement guide to inform us that we have to do the playing with fire (and the following quest I believe?) to purchase juggling torches. Cheers

I found the problem. It's missing a map change. It should be directing you to Mulgore (Blooodhoof Village) to talk to the Flame Eater. And he does give that quest. The Master Flame Eater does not have the Playing with Fire quest, but he does have quests that involve the torches. I'll make sure this is put into our bug list to get fixed along with a tip about how to obtain the Burning Blossoms for purchasing the torches.

Would it not make more sense to send you to Razor Hill, especially if you are already in Orgrimmar?

Also, since I have just completed the quest line, at the end when you are finished in the Zoram Strand and need to go back and see an Elder, the travel system tried to get me to go to Tirisfal Glade instead of handing things in back in Orgimmar.

We send you to Mulgore instead of Razor Hill because the following steps are all in Thunder Bluff and then from there over to Dustwallow Marsh. Running you down to Razor Hill will make it take that much longer to reach Thunder Bluff after accepting that quest.

I've made note about changing that last step from Undercity to Orgrimmar as it really doesn't make sense to send you to the other continent when there is no other reason to go there.

Dustwallow Marsh step sent me to Mulgore. Then the next step for the ally fire sent me to a spot where there is no fire. Same issue with the Org step. sent me to the area of the pet tamer not to the correct quest NPC.

And you made sure you have the latest guide version in game by checking the version number shown at the bottom left of the guide selection window?

Which of the 3 guides do you have open, what is the step number, and is it Alliance or Horde side?

This is suppose to point to the Bon Fire by Theramore Island. Instead it points to Southern Barrens 62:40

Ok, I found the bug in the guide file. Will get this on the list to be fixed. Thanks for reporting it.

Alliance Extinguishing the Cataclysm had me start in Stormwind, then fly out to Vashj'ir for the Vashj'ir Flame Guardian. Not using a gryphon, but actually flying there on my mount. Unfortunately, the trip was a bit too far and I ended up dead of fatigue. Maybe setting it to use flight point instead?
