Frame rate drops.....

...... when using the injection system the frame rate drops to 1 or 2 which makes auto stepping painfully slow any ideas?

That's the first anyone has reported this in ESO. Try disabling all other addons to see if there is maybe an addon conflict causing the slow down.

further to this thread, itried to disable out of date addons and it disabled the guide as well but according to the client there was no update available (1.3.14187).

Oh, I forgot that we have that on our list to get that marked as not being out of date after that one recent game update. If you have only Zygor running (all other addons disabled) do you get the frame rate issues?

In the addons screen you can indivdually activate each addon. The "load out of date addons" checkbox is only there to prevent loading outdated addons even if they are activated in the list.

I have some 60 addons running do you want me to enable and disable by hand?

I wasnt going to bring this up before checking with addons disabled but the guide also clicks through green quests and just keeps going one click at a time and lowers the fps to one per click.

if you enble the date checker then i could go ahead and disable my addons.

If you go to the addons screen from the character selection you have buttons to activate and deactivate all addons in the lower left corner.

If you normally always have all your addons running testing only the guide can be done pretty quick.
Check "load out of date addons" above the addons list, then deactivate all addons with the button and look for the ZygorGuidesViewer addon and activate only that.

Oh damn, very sorry, I did not notice this was in the ESO guides section and not WoW. Shame on me.
I did not even know the ESO guides are still working

We re-released them as part of the Elite subscription Cartman.

I don't know when the fix will be sent out to take care of it showing as out of date. Please try allowing the game to load out of date addons and disable all other addons so that Zygor is the only one running to see if you still have fps issues.

I'm still getting terrible frame drops even with no other addons active. I even removed all of them from my addons folder.

Also, why is the ESO portion of zygor guides so neglected? Hasn't had an update in forever, and by now there should be DLC guides, farming guides,achievement guides, maybe even a cyrodiil PvE guide. Please start giving ESO the attention it deserves

Try going to your Documents/Elder Scrolls Online folder and rename the live folder to live.Old. Then log into the game and back out again so it will create a new live folder and sub-folders and then use the desktop client to install a fresh copy of the guide files. See if that helps for the frame rate problem.

We had re-released the ESO guides shortly before the WoW Legion beta began so once the ESO guides were up and running we had to switch our focus over to getting the Legion guides created. As we had said when we released the ESO guides we would look at other possible guides (DLC, achievements, etc.) after the Legion expansion was released and we made sure there were no major bugs with that. We also said there was no guarantee we would create any other guides for ESO aside from the Leveling guides. There will be many different factors that we look at to determine if any other ESO guides are created and which ones might be created.
