Wrong guide?

Guide: Khenarthi's Roost (3-7)

Right after exiting the wailing prision I am told to "Go upstairs and leave the ship." and finally accept the quest "Storm on the Horizon"

The problem: What ship?? and the waypoint is 9,3 km away!
I am on the correct map and inside a tower with a door. Must be a wrong guide here?, but the title seems correct.

I am playing "The Aldmeri Dominion".

That doesn't sound right unless they changed the transition around with the Dark Brotherhood patch. It should be when you leave the prison that you wake up on a ship. Guess I'll have to create an Aldmeri toon and run thru the prison fast to see where it takes me.

No, don´t play through the prison. You have to skip the tutorial. Then you directly start in Khenarthi's Roost in a room. The guide wants you to travel back to Auridon. When you play the tutorial everything is ok, the confusing part starts when you skip it.

No, I played thru the prison on a new Aldmeri toon and the end of the prison guide is wrong and the start of the Khenarthi's Roost guide is wrong as well. We'll have to get that fixed but you can just go to step 4 of the Khenarthi's roost guide to follow from there.

But the coordinates for that npc is off. Found him by following the original arrow in the game.

Yeah, in the past he'd run down to the gate by the beach when you were coming in from the ship so now that you're not coming from that way he's at a different spot.
