This is the first report of this kind we have received so there's no reason to believe, on our end, that anything has been compromised. As is always the case if we get reports like this though we take it very seriously, so we're investigating if there's any possibility. We'll let you know as soon as we're finished verifying.

It's been quite a while since we saw false reports from anti virus software. That said, did you receive this warning after you had already installed the client, or was this before or after a fresh installation on your new computer?

I'm pretty sure this is a false positive by AVG. The client was last scanned on VirusTotal less than 12 hours ago and only 1 of the 57 anti-virus software they use found anything wrong with the file. https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/7...6820/analysis/

It was the day after that it happend not when i installed it but checked around and avg list any file that does not have alot of users of avg as unkown especially when programs use .bat so i think ur right about the false positive. Plus if zygor had 10k ppl on facebook and 2k on fourms more people would prob say somthing if it was a virus last post i saw was like 2 weeks ago i was just worried cause did not want any info stolen but i dont think its a virus anymore or malware due to the number of people using plus the virus total only showed 1 ussaily when somthings a virus virustotal would show way more sorry for my grammar my english is not so great. I do admit avg is not the best antivirus but it is better than norton lol.

It never hurts to be cautious when it comes to possible virus issues.

I am using AVG the paid version. I have not had a warning about Zygor's client.
