    Love Zygor But!

    Hi all
I love Zygor but I think $8- a month is too much to charge to use it.
$5- wound be acceptable but be nice to buy it outright for a reasonable price.
Does long time sub give any perks if I continue to sub?
Is there ever any sales on prices?
So not that I pay $8- a month can that price go up if they decide to raise sub?

    TIA!

As long as you stay subscribed the price you pay will not go up. You can also lower the subscription price by using our referral system found in the Members area. If you get enough referrals you can get your subscription for free. http://www.zygorguides.com/members/referrals

Thats kinda like saying if I can somehow convince more people to pay for your service which is highly unlikely you its on me that I am paying too much for your monthly service.

No, it's more like saying we are charging what we feel is fair and what allows us to stay in business, but there is an option that can allow you to get the service at a cheaper price.

I dont see how an addon for WoW can be justified in costing half as much as a full game sub costs.
A one time fee or a monthly fee of no more than a dollar or 2 is the max any sub should cost.

Zygor certainly did not cost that much compared to making WoW to justify there WoW sub fee plus game adds updates that adds their costs.

I dont see much content to added to Zygor once you have it you have everything needed.

The comparison to WoW isn't really relevant due to the extreme difference in number of subscribers. If Zygor gets anywhere even remotely close to even 1% of the amount of subscribers WoW has, I personally guarantee that our price would be able to drop dramatically. However, the current reality is that's just not the case, not even close. Dropping to such a low price, right now, would ensure the shuttering of the Zygor office, which we are trying to avoid at all costs.

Glad you like the guides, though.

Doing a trial thing right now and connected my PayPal for a month.

If it were for 4.99 I would've subscribed WITHOUT QUESTION. 7.99 is the price of a MMO Subscription for me.

The way I understand it is you have the option of either subscribing or paying a one-off fee for each part of the package you want. You would also then need to buy any new expansion content added as has been the case until very recently when the subscription option was added after a lot of us had asked for it. Whether the prices are reasonable is for you to make your mind up on ;-)

That only applies to customers who had purchased guides before we switched over to the subscription model. New customers (like techman) only have the subscription option available.

Also, new guides for games other than WoW (such as the ESO guides) will only be available via the subscription. So for example since you (xerty) had never purchased the ESO guides back when we originally sold them the only way you could obtain them is with the subscription. There will not be an option for you to purchase it with a one time payment.

Just wanted to make sure there was no confusion on it.

I did not realise this was the new model. I thought the non-subscription option was still available. Thanks for the clarification
