Garrison Daily

I'm following the achievements required for flight in Draenor.

I open the Garrison dailies. Today it is Dark Side Roost.

Do you have to previously accept the daily quest, then use the guide?

What was happening was I would select the relevant section of the guide - but the guide cycled right though to the end.

I went back to the game, made certain I accepted the Dailey then chose the section of the guide. Then it worked.

You do not need to accept a new daily. You can also go to your garrison quartermaster and purchase missives that will give you any of your missing dailies so you can do them all in one day if you want.
