how do i make a desktop icon or pin it to taskbar?

I have looked through the forum but cant find a thread on this. when I installed the client I check marked make desktop icon but it didn't and I have tried everything I can to make one or to try to pin it to taskbar but I can't. I'm using windows 10. can anyone help Please?

Run the client installer again but for the last step do not run the client right away, just un-check that option and finish the installation. That should then get the shortcut onto your desktop for you to use to start the client after you have finished the installation.

If you are using Windows, right click on the program in the folder it was installed in, and one of the options should be Send To - and within that selection, you should see "Desktop (create shortcut" - that will create a shortcut to the program onto your desktop.
