Pricing Issue

The auction house addon is currently suggesting I sell items at the lowest CURRENT BID price, versus the BUYOUT. This is an issue to me, since a lot of people post a much lower starting bid than their buyout. Maybe this can be made into a checkbox option or something? I only want to post prices based on current buyouts. Most people don't bid, at least from my experience. I've tested this with a few items and it seems to hold true. Anyone else see this or even bother checking?

Along with that as I tried to check out some more things: some of these items it's having me post below the prices that are considered deals in the "Shopping" tab I should be buying to resell for profit. That doesn't even make sense.

What do you have the % set at for the undercut when posting? Is it possible that what you see as the bid price is just the same as the % under the buyout price?

For the buying and reselling prices, how much time is there between when you purchase an item and when you go to re-list it? Is it possible that someone else posted more for sale and that then lowered the resell price?

I've tried 1% undercut and 1 copper under. It always sets my buyout to 1 copper under the lowest current bid of the same item I am undercutting. Not the buyout price of it. Taking a large hit because of that. The time from my scan, manually browsing to confirm prices, and relisting, are all done in a minute or less. I tested it by setting an item to post, then using the Shopping List function to find that same item. The price it's telling me to sell for us under that if the individual cost of each item it tells me to flip. It's not possible that prices are changing so drastically.

This was best tested using the 1 copper under setting, since I can easily see that it is posting my buyout compared to their bid instead of buyout. I sorted the item browsing tab by price and made sure I wasn't making a mistake when it came to bid/buyout. Checked each page since there aren't too many of the item.

Ok, I'll talk to the team about this to see if we can reproduce it. Can you let us know what all of your AH/Gold guide settings are in the Inventory Management section of the guide viewer settings?

Enabled Auction Tools
Auction Fast Scan Intensity set to High.
Appraiser selling price undercut set to 1% (like I said though, I also tried 1 copper)
Enable Zygor item tooltips
Auction House display mode: Dynamic
General display mode: Simple
Set to show full data when holding shift.
Profit Balance: Highest (though I haven't seen this make a difference anywhere?)

Good point ekstren. I noticed this too, I just overlooked it and use a different addon. I don't like how the recommended buyout doesn't undercut the cheapest current buyout price. So I usually use Auctionator to post my auctions. I tried playing the with settings but I couldn't seem to get it to just undercut the buyout.

If this could be fixed I probably wouldn't even need another addon for the auction house.
