Does the Pets & Mounts guide actually guide you to getting easy mounts? How many can you get with it if so?

From reading here and even on the advertisement page, it almost seems to be more Pets related than mounts.

I do not have an exact number of mounts for you but we do have 288 guides for the mounts and some of those guides (pre-MoP) allow you to obtain multiple mounts with one guide. For example the racial mounts that there is one guide for but there are normally 6 different mounts you can get with that one guide. This means that we do have over 300 mounts included in our guides.

Is there any chance to add more mounts/pets? Another guide I own I won't say which has tons that Zygor does not which is sad because I'd prefer to use a single addon.

I'm not sure to be completely honest, but I know when I click on someone with a mount I almost always get information or a guide with the other but not as often with you guys. But like I said I'm not sure which are actually not there.

Check the notifications window that is normally collapsed. The mount guides might be getting put into there and you just aren't seeing them. As far as we know we do have all of the mounts in our guides.

Yeah I do check that. I just go to say Stormwind and click on people and it seems I rarely get a popup or notification. Another unrelated thing is the button does not show correctly on ElvUI, it's because their unit frames are named differently but a floating button option would fix that issue.

Hmm, I thought we had moved that pet/mount icon off of the player frame and attached it to our arrow or viewer. Will have to double-check on that.

I was just doing some in game testing and all of the people I was targeting in SW on mounts had a related mount guide popping up in the Notification center.

I had the Creature Detector option enabled:


And this was my settings for the Notification Center which I believe are the default settings:


Try setting yours up to match and then do some more testing to see if it's showing up in the notification center.

Yeah I have the same settings but fail to get that many to actually show up. I get quite a few of them but not nearly all.

Are you using the Addons Skins for ElvUI? If so try disabling the Zygor one to make sure that's not causing any issues. Also double check your notifications slider setting as that determines how many pet or mount guides will be shown in the notification center. If you only have it at 2 (for example) when you get to the 3rd one then the 1st one will move off of the list and be lost.

Yeah I'm using the Addon Skins. I'll have to check later on disabling it but I'm pretty sure it cannot be causing any issues because it only skins the addons, it does not however change or alter any functionality.

I know it shouldn't affect it but you never know.
